We, here at the YMCA, strive to serve members with quality programs, services and facilities.  All of our members are sure to find something to keep them active and satisfied.  Memberships include access to cardio-fitness center, gymnasium, weight room, locker rooms, sauna and pool area.  In addition all fitness classes are included in the membership along with discounted program fees, e-newsletters/updates and a free orientation at sign-up.  A truly multi-use facility, the YMCA hopes to have something for every member or guest who walks through our doors.  If you can't find something you need or have suggestions, feel free to contact us!

Pre-School Membership (3-5 yrs. old):  Allows pre-school age youth to have reduced fees for selected programs and activities (i.e. gymnastics, swim lessons, etc.).   

Youth Membership (6-13 yrs. Old):  Allows youth to have a membership to join a YMCA Competitive Team (additional team fees may apply) and receive reduced fees on youth programs and other YMCA youth activities.  Age restrictions do not allow youth in this category to use fitness facilities.  If a 12-13 year old successfully completes our Youth Fitness Instruction class, then he/she will be permitted to access the fitness facilities with a parent in the building.  Youth may use gymnasium and pool with adult supervision.

Teen Membership (14-17 yrs. Old):  Allows teenagers to have access to YMCA facilities and receive reduced fees on programs* and other YMCA activities.  Teens are able to use YMCA fitness facilities, locker rooms, gymnasium and pool.  Equipment not used properly or damaged will result in membership revocation.

College Membership:  Allows local and visiting college students to use all YMCA facilities and receive reduced fees on programs and other YMCA activities.  Valid College ID must be shown at time of membership purchase in order to receive a college membership pricing. 

Adult Membership (18 +):  Allows adults (individuals 18 and older) to use all YMCA facilities and receive reduced fees on programs and other YMCA activities.  Some fitness classes are included with the membership fee.  The membership also allows use of the locker room facilities, dry sauna, indoor pool, gymnasium and all exercise facilities.

Senior Citizen Membership (62 +):  Allows local or visiting senior citizens to use all YMCA facilities and receive reduced fees on programs and other YMCA activities.  The Lock Haven Area YMCA is a full Silver & Fit facility.

Senior Citizen Couple Membership (Both 62 +):  Allows two adult senior citizens living together as a couple to use all YMCA facilities and receive reduced fees on programs and other YMCA activities.  The Lock Haven Area YMCA is a full Silver & Fit facility.

Couple Membership (18+):  Allows two adults living together as a couple to use all YMCA facilities and receive reduced fees on programs and other YMCA activities.  Some fitness classes are included with the membership fee.  The membership also allows use of the locker room facilities, dry sauna, indoor pool, gymnasium and all exercise facilities.

Single Parent Family Membership:  Allows one adult and child(ren) living in the same household to use all YMCA facilities and receive reduced fees on programs and other YMCA activities.  All children under the age of 18 are included in family membership. Young adults who are 18–23 years who are full time students and living at same address (as permanent residence) will retain their family membership status. At 24 years of age or when no longer a student, this individual would obtain an Adult (18+) Membership.  Membership unit holder may be required to provide proof of dependant(s) status.  Access to facilities is same as categories listed above according to age.

Family Membership:  Allows two adults living together as a couple and their child(ren) living in the same household to use all YMCA facilities and receive reduced fees on programs and other YMCA activities.  Age of children requirements same as single parent family membership.  Membership unit holder may be required to provide proof of dependant(s) status.  Access to facilities is same as categories listed above according to age. 

Membership Options

PAYMENT METHODS
- Check MasterCard/Visa, or monthly bank draft (EFT) directly from checking or savings account.
- Memberships can be purchased for 3 months, 6 months or one-year (except pre-school and youth).
- A Financial Assistance Program is offered. Applications are available at the YMCA front desk.
- Please note there is a cost savings when purchasing an annual membership as opposed to the incremental options.

The Lock Haven Area YMCA Strong Communities Financial Assistance Program is a resource that allows those who cannot afford to join the YMCA or use YMCA programs to receive financial assistance. Through the YMCA Annual Campaign and the Clinton County United Way, the YMCA is able to offer reduced or subsidized fees for those who cannot financially afford rates or fees. Applications are available at the Lock Haven Area YMCA front desk. All information and records are kept confidential.
